It was at primary school that Mayuki made her debut as a percussionist on the taiko. She successfully continued her learning to became the soloist of the Hibiki group, founded by Master Tamada. She had many opportunities to play with this group abroad. It is within this same ensemble that Rémi Clemente acquired his training, which he has never stopped pursuing.

Learning the taiko requires one to listen to one’s body. Beginning with a trio piece, the workshop allows for the assimilation of the necessary qualities for this practice: physical endurance, perseverance, collective work, motor function, the notion of personal space and the respect of others. Thanks to the two invited professors, beginners and more advanced students alike will be able to deepen their knowledge of these fascinating instruments.
