Crete has absorbed Eastern and Western influences for centuries, and its music reflects this unique synthesis. Of Irish origins and trained in the Eastern tradition, Ross Daly has lived in Crete for three decades and studied the island’s music in-depth. He and his ensemble present traditional Cretan music – rich and unexplored - mixed through with original composition.
