Stelios Petralis began learning the lyra as a child. He quickly developed his knowledge of the island’s music by exploring other repertoires from Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria. With his quartet of exceptional musicians, Stelios offers an intense, personal vision of Cretan music. Full of energy, this festive music is carried by the depth of the voices and subtle interlacing of the strings.
