This dance-driven programme introduces a young generation of artists formed around the Efendaki sisters, who opened up Cretan dance to a wider public. Among a rich repertoire, the dancers will perform the difficult kastrinos (typical of the Heraklion region) and the expressive syrtos where the first dancer in the circle has the opportunity to perform the most spectacular movements.
