Born in Corsica, Jacky Micaelli is equally passionate about sacred and profane repertoires. A career marked by many distinctions has led her to the world’s largest stages and to diverse styles. She now focuses on Mediterranean heritage through her Corsican polyphony ensemble U Ponticellu.

Using Corsican polyphony, she teaches how voice and body work together and emphasises singing’s spiritual aspects. This workshop’s objective is to approach Corsican polyphony by a personal path rather than through acquisition of technique.
