Remarkable composer and performer of Mediterranean, Eastern and medieval European music, Efrén Lopez is also a multi-instrumentalist. He plunged into Cretan, Turkish Persian, Afghani and Indian music, which he studied under the tutelage of reputable masters. In this workshop, which is aimed at proficient musicians, Efren experiments with modal music composition and improvisation, and focuses on melody and asymmetric rhythms.
