As a prelude to the exceptional concert on Saturday 7 November, the film Qetiq, Rock'n Ürümchi focuses on a group of Uyghur musicians from the Xingjian region in East Turkestan. This film follows the events and emotions of their last European tour, with particular attention given to the music of the great singer Perhat Khaliq, who, in the interim, has become a major star in China – especially since he has won second prize in the TV show The Voice of China. He is well on his way to a dazzling international career.
