Aïcha Redouane began her musical training first as an autodidact, by listening to the great masters of the past. Then teachers of different styles marked out her unusual path: Berber song, jazz-blues, lyrical song, classical Arabic singing and even koranic chanting (tajwîd).

Workshop programme

• Progressive preparation, body relaxation and respiration
• Soft awakening and  warming-up of the voice
• Vocal resonances
• Encounter between text and rythm
• Discovery of maquâm's modal language 
• Eastern Arabic song repertoire
• Sufi song

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November, 11am-1pm and 2.30pm-4.30pm. It is imperative to register before taking part to the workshop.
