The art of the daff

Caroline Chevat trained in Egyptian dance and choreography with Claudia Heinle, and in percussion with Ibrahim el Minyawi. For the past fifteen years she has dedicated herself to the diffusion of these two disciplines with passion and generosity. 

During this course students will discover the language of the daff, a drum with a variety of tonal colours. Knowing how to adapt her teaching to the level of each student, Caroline provides the technical elements that allow for the sharing of musical moments. Different strike techniques, feel and listening, as well as Eastern rhythms, will be covered in this course.
