To close this evening’s festivities, fifteen musicians will surround Ross Daly. On the programme: original compositions from Ross and other members of the Labyrinth Musical Workshop, who are all living proof of the artistic potential that this traditional music laboratory cultivates. Situated somewhere between the East and West, this inspiring project forges new paths that are resolutely contemporary, and contributes to modal music’s ever-growing aesthetic potential from a position that is both respectful of ancient forms and eminently creative.
