Sabar : traditional wolof dance and song

Yelly Thioune, with his percussionnists, leads the children in th colorful universe of Sabar, traditional wolof dance and song associated to the ceremoinals. The musical transmission will be made by the learning of diverse rythms on Doum Doum, the percussion of the Sabar.

The children will continue their immersion in the danced repertoire of Senegal through an initiaion to the dance of False Lions, interpreted by some men disguised as big cats. Tales and animated movie workshops will also be on the afternoon's programme.
