Hornroh exalts in playing with instruments that have striking natural sonorities: there is the alpophone, the buchel, the cow horn, the lur and the mirliton. These instruments unite in a soundscape, where sensuality, familiarity, strangeness, poetry and fervour all unite. Hornroh obtains powerful and archaistic tones, shimmering harmonies and poetic sounds from Swiss instruments. The four performers make their instruments howl, creating a field of experiences.
