A true specialist of musical films, Stefan Schwietert sets out to discover three mountain voices: Christian Zehnder, from the Stimmhorn duo, the experimental vocalist Ericka Stucky and the yodeller Noldi Alder. Absorbed by their quest for perfect sound, these virtuosos reinterpret the Heimat. By associating their songs with archival images, Schwietert creates harmony between the mountains and the music which echoes them.  He shows that ancient traditions can evolve and even demonstrate modernity.
