This anti-Heidi character integrates Swiss folk music into her vocal acrobatics. With Suicidal Yodels, the diva punkishly participates in the renaissance of Swiss tradition. Her songs oscillate between standards and original compositions. Her story is like her music: her family moved from 'flower power' San Francisco to Haut-Valais – a culture shock indeed! But this gave Erika a taste for contrast, which she serves up with virtuosity.
