This film presents three musicians who have rejuvenated alpine horn music: Hans-Jurg Sommer, Balthasar Streiff and Hans Kennel. It follows them across the country and explores conceptions of what authentic Swiss music is. This musical journey introduces Hans-Jurg's magnificent melodies, the bombastic sounds of the Hornroh group and Moondog's acoustic collages, performed on sixteen alpine horns by jazzman Hans Kennel's group.
