Gazig – 'spicy' in the Bern dialect – is the name that trumpet-player Hans Kennel and new wave yodeller Christine Lauterburg have chosen for their project, which has been enriched with Regina Steiner's arrival. The need to renew alpine music has been expressed in many ways and by mixing old forms into their original repertoire, this trio brings us a great example of a living tradition.
