The music played by Michelangelo4tet is the fruit of a long poetic exploration, which began in Sao Paulo through contact with popular Brazilian music.  Fed by Amazonian sources, reinvented through the friction of Western and African influences, this ethno-jazz inspired music explores new spaces in terms of frequencies, timbres and plasticity. What results is an original and organic acoustic universe, which resonates with the sounds that animate our everyday lives and direct our interactions with the world.
