A voice and a guitar discover each other in 2007, which leads to a collaboration on stage the following year. From this first encounter between Maria de la Paz and Ignacio Lamas, a palette of original musical ambiences has sprung forth.  Their Hispanic origins, their childhood experiences, the atmosphere and shared memories of freedom and being carefree are the dominant themes that they explore. This first encounter brought up the idea of a creative collaboration with three talented musicians with whom they formed the quintet that we will hear in concert.
