Beginner/Medium ; Medium/Advanced (2 workshops)
Dancer, choreographer, musician, singer and comedian, Merlin masters both traditional and contemporary dance. His enthusiasm allows students to experience the richness of African dance in an enjoyable way.
Classes begin with exercises and learning polyphonic chants, followed by a warm-up with the musicians, before moving on to dance steps and choreography. Song and percussion provide an accompaniment for the classes.
