El Minyawi is a virtuoso on the Egyptian derbouka and is known for his various recordings and collaborations (notably with dancer/choreographer Suraya Hilal). His way of playing and quality as a performer make him one of the best contemporary percussionists. Lovers of percussion will learn to accompany dance.
