To start the summer off, world music and dance lovers will rediscover a great range of emblematic artists and teachers who will share their passion. During the course of a week, children, adults, beginners and seasoned practitioners will experience the pleasure of playing, dancing and singing together!

Vocal enthusiasts have the choice between polyphonies of southern Italy, led by Marina Pittau, yodel with Heidi and Barbara Klossner, and flamenco singing under the aegis of Cristo Cortes, who will also accompany the dance classes of the great Carmen Ledesma.

The Middle Eastern will be approached through dance, percussion and music. Iyad Haymour will introduce musicians to the subtleties of the repertoire, Ibrahim El Minyawi and Caroline Chevrat will reveal the mysteries of Egyptian rhythms, while Claudia Heinle will transmit the secrets of Baladi, a popular dance born in Cairo.

The percussion of Brazilian Candomblé will be introduced by the masters Alysson Bruno and Letho Nascimento. Choreographer Rosangela Silvestre will plunge you into the sacred universe and ritual dances of the Orishas of Brazil.

Dancers Ravi and Mata Mishra will pass on their knowledge of Benares Kathak, while the Malian Fatim Berthé will guide her students' steps along the trails of Mandinka tradition.

The younger public also have reason to get excited! They can travel to the Alps, Brazil and Egypt through music, dance and diverse creative workshops.

The Croisée is about sharing moments and conviviality, as well as festive evenings performances at the Parfumerie, where everyone can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat ...
