Choreographer, teacher and dancer, Rosangela Silvestre is from Salvador de Bahia. After studying and exploring different dance expressions, she trained dancers and choreographed for various companies. In constant evolution, she met jazzman Steven Coleman and together they developed the idea of using the body as a musical instrument. The use of the voice is also an integral part of her work.
