Baladi developed in Cairo at the beginning of the last century and is a means of expressing spiritual and social aspirations for the working-class. Student of the great dancer Suraya Hilal, Claudia Heinle is an exponent of the contemporary form of traditional Egyptian dance. Claudia has a deep knowledge of Egyptian culture and is a passionate teacher.
