Ravi Shankar Mishra and Mata Prasad Mishra come from a Benares family of musicians and have studied Kathak since childhood. They have performed at numerous festivals across India and have contributed to the diffusion of Kathak across Europe and Japan. They are excellent tabla players and have frequently performed on All India Radio. Their virtuosity, talent in improvisation, and their deep knowledge of the Kathak repertoire make them fantastic teachers.
