SEAMUS BEGLEY & SEAMIE O'DOWD

Seamus Begley, the accordionist and singer, comes from Baile na bPoc.  He conquers his public with his presence, his mischievous humour and inordinate love of music.  An expert of polkas, slides and jigs, Seamus masters the dance rhythms of his native region.

Considered to be one of Irish music’s giants, Seamus Begley has revived his repertoire by working with the guitarist Seamie O’Dowd, a former member of the Dervish and the Mairtin O’Connor Band.
