The four musicians opening tonight are real connoisseurs of the old traditional repertoire.  The way they play evokes an older generation, yet their music is full of passion and energy.

Born in London to Irish parents, John Blake left very young to seek out his musical roots.  In Ireland, he was quickly recognised as one of the best guitarists of the traditional scene.  Backed by three accomplices, he leads with elegance and talent.
