EXHIBITION

Spotlight on endangered cultures

A photo exhibition curated by Musée Barbier-Mueller cultural foundation

From 18 to 21 May - Alhambra's lobby (free entrance)

This exhibition comprises twenty photographs taken by anthropologists in different African countries. These visual testaments reveal little known communities, whose beliefs, customs and ways of life are undergoing rapid changes due to the social, economic and climatic evolutions they find themselves caught up in. In this exhibition peoples such as the Gan of Burkina Faso; the Wan, Mona, Koyaka and Yohoure of the Ivory Coast; and the Jiye of Southern Sudan are honoured.
