The malouf has a privileged position in traditional Tunisian music. It encompasses the secular repertoire (hazl), as well as the religious songs (jadd) of various brotherhoods and touches on all forms of classical singing. Yousra Dhahbi is a lute player of great talent, who has taught and performed as a soloist. She seeks to preserve this tradition in its original form, accompanied by her ensemble.
