Recognised as one of the best kathak dancers in India, Arjun Mishra embodies an art where three great traditions mix. Graced with a genius for dance and rhythm, his creativity is limitless. From a family of musicians, he studied dance under the great master Birju Maharaj.

Performing with him are his son Anuj, a prodigy of kathak dance, and his daughters Smriti and Kantika. Gifted with a generous personality and a surprising grace, Anuj has forged a unique style that incorporates brilliant technique and sense of improvisation.

On October 16 and 17, Arjun et Anuj Mishra will run a dance workshop at the Ateliers d’ethnomusicologie (10, rue de Montbrillant)
