Depository of an oral tradition, the master musicians of the Goussan ensemble tell a universal story from the Middle Ages with troubadour music and that of the bards. The rich repertoire is enhanced by an authentic performance involving ancient instruments. We hear joy, philosophical thoughts, satires, cries born in exile and nostalgia for a past that is at times heavy to carry.
