Ibra Balissa is forging new paths with the kora through brilliant improvisations and a fusion of jazz, flamenco, Mandinka, Afro-Portuguese and m’blax music…Guitarist Marc Liebeskind adds some Indian influences to the mix. In 2004 they collaborated on ‘Taffetas’; today they recreate the experience as a quartet, which features an incredible rhythm section.
