Amine et Hamza Mraihi (Tunisie)

The two Tunisian brothers Amine and Hamza Mraihi, virtuosos on the ud and ganun, take us on a journey far from musical stereotypes to a universe where meditative reveries, complex structures and solos overflowing with energy all mix. The collective The Band Beyond Borders, in which the fabulous tabla player Prabhu Edouard sometimes plays, presents a music that transcends styles and stereotypes – a jazz of ethnic colours, which dissolves borders through its rich influences and the diversity of its members.
