PERSIAN SONGS: NEAR AND FAR
Lecture of Reza Afchar Naderi
Reza Afchar Naderi, born in Iran, a doctor in Persian literature, and a poet and translator, chose to live in France because he could no longer bear the weight of the last Shah of Iran’s regime on society. Poetry allows him, in a foreign land, to affirm his culture born of a thousand-year-old heritage.
This conference is an opportunity for him to share with the public his artistic experience, through ancient and modern poetic texts, in the presence of Aïda Nosrat and Babak Amir Mobasher (the Manushan group), the latter belonging to the post-revolution generation.
The lecture is followed by the double concert Roads of the East, with Between Iraq and Syria and Free Song of Iran.
